Laboratories & Workshops The most important component of any educational institution, especially the biotechnology education institution is its laboratories. The college takes pride in equipping its spacious laboratories with the most modern and state of the art machinery and equipment. The laboratories have been furnished and equipped not only to meet the syllabus requirements of the University, but also to expose the students to the latest developments in technology. The course offered by PTU provides an intensive and update learning in the fast moving areas of biotechnology. The study of Bio-Technology is multi disciplinary in nature, which comprises subjects as: - Cell and Molecular Biology, Biochemistry (Medical/Industrial), Microbiology (Medical/Industrial), Immunology, Genetic Engg., Tissue Culture (Plant and Animal), Drug Designing, Biochemical Engg., Bioanalytical Techniques, Thermodynamics, Bio Process Engg., Down stream processing, Bioreactor Designing, Bio materials, Bio medical Engg., Micro electro mechanical system & Nanobiotechnology Since biotechnology is a research based subject, college has well equipped laboratories to provide practical exposure to the recent techniques in biotechnology.
